The Latest Upcoming Phones To Lookout For This Christmas

Christmas is the time to be jolly. It is also that superb time when we take shopping to a whole new level. For mobile lovers the end of the year is quite promising with big launches from the big players being expected to hit the market before during and after the holiday rush. I’m certain that you are looking forward to what’s coming at the end of this year. Here are the latest upcoming phones to lookout for this Christmas.

Google Nexus 5

Google is expected to launch another Nexus device (Nexus 5) before the end of this year. This launch is meant to upset the apple cart with the latest leaks indicating that the Nexus 5 specs will be more or less similar to that of the iPhone 5S but will sell at about half the price of an iPhone 5S.

It can be safe to say that the Nexus 5 will be running on an Android 4.4 operating system which will be probably its main selling point. The leaks also indicate that this device manufactured by LG will spot an 8-megapixel optically stabilized camera, a 4.95-inch display and a Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 processor. With awesome specs and a highly attractive price tag this phone is expected to sell like hot cakes.

Nokia Lumia 1520

Nokia isn’t going quiet. Nokia is expected to launch the Nokia Lumia 1520 at the end of this year or early next year. Though there is little to report at the moment, we are looking at Nokia taking the Windows Phone experience to a whole new level. It is alleged to include a 6-inch 1080p display, a Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 chipset, a 20-megapixel camera and a 3400mAh battery.

HTC One Max

The HTC One is an awesome phone, so awesome that many wish there was more of them. Fortunately, the HTC is set to release its One Max also known as the One T6 later this year sporting a 5.9-inch display featuring 1920 x 1080P resolution. The leaked images will instantly remind you of the recent HTC One mini and HTC One devices. The One Max will come with 2GB of RAM, a 2.1MP front camera, an Ultrapixel digital camera and a 3300mAh battery which will run under a 2.3GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 processor.

Sony Xperia Z1 Mini

Sony Mobile has been trying to woo smartphone lovers with its new line of Xperia devices. The Xperia Z1 is such an awesome phone but perhaps controversially most users complain of its size (it is too large, almost the size of a tablet). Enter the Sony Xperia Z1 f or Xperia Z1 Mini. It will solve the size problem and at the same time maintain the Z1 specs which include 2GB of RAM and 2.2GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 processor. Moreover it will be waterproof and will feature a 4.3-inch 720p display.

IPhone 5S

Speculation about the release of the iPhone 5S from Morpeth Mobiles first made headlines almost immediately after the iPhone 5 was released last year. The 5S is expected to look similar in design as the iPhone 5. The 5S speech engine will be fine-tuned and will also accommodate a finger print scanner. It’s expected to run under the A7 Apple’s processor and use a SGX554MP4 graphics processor to guarantee optimum performance during a 3D rendering or while playing demanding games. Finally, besides the vanilla white and black shades, the iPhone 5S will also come with the gold shade.
